About Moria Bachar, Bio, and artist CV About Moria Bachar An Israeli painter, b. 1985 in Kibbutz Afikim. Based in Tel Aviv. Bachar is a graduate of Shenkar Art college, her work has been exhibited in several solo and group exhibitions, including ‘Fresh Paint’ Art Fair. In her paintings, Bachar reflects on the landscapes and architecture that surrounded her in the Kibbutz where she grew up. The blending of visual atmospheres with vague memories gave Moria her distinct style of flat, graphic art. Moria’s paintings comprise a personal code – one that relies on modernism and abstraction, always searching for the right balance between them. CV Education: 2011-2015 BFA, Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, School of Multidisciplinary Art, Ramat Gan, Israel. 2006-2009 BA, Tel-Aviv University, English Literature and History. 2016- Certificate in Graphic Design Studies, Shenkar College of Engineering and Design.
